Woodbury High School (Minnesota)

Woodbury Senior High School is located in Woodbury, Minnesota. In the past, Woodbury High School did consist of grades 10th through 12th, but it recently changed to 9th through 12th grade. It is part of the South Washington County School District. The school colors are royal blue and white, and the athletic teams are known as the Royals. The mascot is called Roar the lion. The school was built in 1975.

The high school is 80.3% white, 7.2% black, 9.0% Asian,0.3% American Indian, and 3.3% Hispanic. Enrollment for the school is about 2,014 students. In 2009-2010. The high school followed a 4 block period schedule, with 82 minutes in each class. In the 2010-2011 school year this changed to a 6 period schedule with around 54 minutes in each class.[1] This is one of the 3 public high schools in the district. Woodbury High School is one of the few public high schools in Minnesota to receive a distinguished GreatSchools rating of 10 out of 10.
